You’ve got to love the US Navy…  Ok well maybe not, but the US Navy’s Safety Center is a great little organization.  For years they have taken great delight in showing off the less the brightest moments of both military and civilians in an attempt to get people to not injure them selves so much.

While I’m not sure that they’ve managed to reduce injuries around the Navy, at the very least they can be VERY funny at times.

Take for instance some of the photos that they’ve got posted on their website….

Who needs tie downs to keep their load in their vehicle when they’ve got a really, really big guy to lie on top of what you’re hauling?

Oh, but wait there’s more….

Yes, that is a woman hanging out of a trunk as she works to A) keep the trunk lid closed, and B) works to keep the chair in the car.  Even better, is that the person who took the picture says that he followed them as they entered an expressway with this woman dangling form the trunk.

SEE! That’s why there was a “No Parking Sign” there!

 

Hey Jimbob!!! I can’t afford a trailer for the boat… or for that matter ropes to tie it to the truck bed, so we need you to ride in the back and hold on to the truck so the boat doesn’t fall out!

 

So I said to the sales guy, “I don’t need your stinkin’ delivery charge!”

Ummm… Ok, if I didn’t see this one I wouldn’t have believed it!

  

Some people say that nothing’s truely broken, it just lacks duct tape….  In this case, i don’t think it’s a lack of duct tape that’s the problem!
