So just in case you missed the news last week Kalid Sheik Mohammed aka KSM, who has been a “guest” of the US Government for the last several years has confessed to several crimes and terrorist plots.  In case you didn’t know KSM was a poobah in the Al Qaeda organization, it was revealed in the 9-11 Comission report that the US Government knew of his involvement in the planning of the Septermber 11th attacks and a few other terrorist attacks against US interests around the world…

However, last week the US Government announced that KSM has now confessed to having been involved with as many as 30 different terror plots and criminal activities.  One we didn’t know about, KSM says that he murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Danial Pearl in Pakistan…

The number of things he confessed to is pretty stunning, and I’ve got to say pretty unbelievable…  I mean think about it, the guy’s been in custody for what, five maybe six years?  Considering what we had known he was involved in, it’s doubtful that he has been living “comfortably” during that time…  Heck the writing is on the wall for this guy, and he has nothing to loose by confessing to all of this.  On the other hand by confessing he probably boosts his potential myrtar status, even if he confesses to stuff he didn’t do.

A show I listen to somewhat infrequently was theorizing last week on some of the other things that KSM might have been responsible for.   They’re number one selection - He was the one who let the dogs out.  I’m thinking he did it because he was concerned that the dogs might have made a mess on the carpet if he didn’t.

This led me to thinking about some of the other things KSM might confess to…

Like maybe KSM is the “real killer” that OJ Simpson has been looking for all these years…  How else do you explain why OJ hasn’t been able to find him…

KSM was behind the plot that foisted “New Coke” on us back in the ’80s.

It must have been KSM who moved your car keys the last time you went looking for them…

The Boston Red Sox victory in the World Series a few years ago - Yup KSM…

Oh and the Chicago Cubs inability to win the World Series - That’s KSM’s fault too.

Corvair’s exploding fuel tanks and Ralph Nader’s “Unsafe at any speed” declaration - That had KSM all over it.

KSM is almost certainly responsible for the failure of the Edsel, and probably also for the collapse of the Delorian Motor Company.

And without a doubt - It was KSM that stole the cookie from the cookie jar!
