So a post about nothing…
The last two weeks have been hard… really hard. I would really like to go in to the details - but I can’t.
In a nutshell the best laid plans for the last few weeks were foiled by circumstances beyond our control at several crucial instances. Now, most of the folks we were traveling with rolled with the punches incredibly well and were an absolute joy to be around… Unfortunately three folks managed to make things difficult for quite a bit of last week… At one point at the start of last week The Wife and I were both physically and emotionally drained.
The entire week was just a series of ups and downs for us. To make things even more challenging for us we had yet another family emergency that was percolating while we were gone and managed to boil over as we got to the end of our trip. As a result The Wife headed to Memphis instead of Florida at the end of the trip like we planned and basically at this point we’re not sure when she’ll be able to come back home… The thing is I’d love to tell the story as it stands now - it’s gotten to the point where it’s so sad it’s funny. However, it’s not my place to discuss it - maybe when she can motivate herself to blog again she’ll be willing to tell it.
